For the last two weeks, I’ve been covering the wonders and woes of Apple’s two new iPhone 6 models.
This week I got a chance to take a quick peek at two of the smaller, iPhone 6s, one recently purchased by one of my hiking buddies, the other by a fellow TV producer at the Community Media Center of Marin.
It will another 9 days before the contract for my AT&T iPhone 5 expires and I can buy a “6″ without paying a hefty, $250, premium over the “upgrade” purchase price. And I will probably defer my purchase until various problems with the new phones, especially their iOS8 operating system, are ironed out.
In the meantime, both you and I can see how some apps will really showcase the new, and much larger, iPhone 6 models. Here are three apps that Kit Eaton of The New York Times tried out.
